Patented
5-Step Process!
We begin with your hard copy or digital photograph or drawing.
You select the puzzle size, cut pattern, and puzzle piece size:
- We make an electronic copy of your photograph or drawing
and enlarge or reduce it to the size you have selected.
- Using
a 24 inch wide printer with special inks designed to last
over 100 years, we print the image onto either high quality
gloss photographic paper or a special vinyl surface. For
most orders we use the gloss photo paper but for some special
orders we use vinyl. The photo paper produces a better image;
the vinyl is more durable under extreme outdoor conditions.
- The photo is covered with a scratch resistant protective
surface. Not only does this surface protect the photo from
scratches, it extends the life of the 100 year ink. Long
after you are gone, your puzzle will be able to be viewed
by archeologists.
- We adhere the print to a 1/8 inch thick
acrylic sheet. The acrylic is clear like glass but much
sturdier.
- The
acrylic mounted photo is cut by an industrial laser into
the puzzle cut pattern and piece
size you have selected.
The laser doesn’t actually “cut” the
puzzle; rather, it vaporizes a very thin line between each
piece. We have selected a line size that is narrow enough
that it provides a tight fit but wide enough so that the
pieces can be easily assembled.

Puzzle
Sizes...
We can
make your puzzle in any size but the most popular are those
with a height to width ratio that matches most photographs.
If one of our standard sizes doesn’t fit the size ratio
of your picture or drawing that is not a problem and won’t
add to the cost. Our 4 standard sizes are:
 6 inch
X 9 inch - 8
inch X 12 inch
- 10
inch X 15 inch
- 12
inch X 18 inch
- If
you are using a panoramic photo or want your photo
cropped, we also offer a standard 12 inch X 24
inch
Your drawing or photograph might not be these standard proportions
so we can adjust the dimensions of the puzzle to match the
dimensions of your drawing or photograph.
If you want us to crop (portions cut off) your picture, just
tell us how you want it cropped and we will crop our electronic
copy without making any changes to your original photo.

Puzzle
Cut Patterns...
 Puzzle-my-Picture puzzles are cut into interlocking
pieces. This means that adjacent pieces lock together and won't
slide apart.
We have six basic cut patterns to choose from: Traditional,
Random, Bones, Ovals, Triangles, and Stardisks.
But if you have a special need, we can design a puzzle cut
specifically for you or if you have puzzle cut that you have
designed, send it to us and we will use it for a pattern on
your custom puzzle.
Patterns that are repetitious can be much more difficult
to assemble because pieces on the same puzzle will fit in the
wrong places. A puzzle with a repetitious cut pattern has to
be assembled based on the picture, not the fit of the pieces.
In the Random and Traditional cut puzzles, each piece is
a unique size and shape and will fit into only one place on
the puzzle. A Random and Traditional piece puzzles can be correctly
assembled upside down, looking only at the back of the pieces;
the Bones, Ovals, Triangles, and Stardisks patterns cannot. |
Puzzle
Piece Sizes...
 The standard piece sizes are:
- 3 inches

These are approximate average sizes because there will be
different pieces of different sizes in any interlocking puzzle.
We can also make the puzzle pieces smaller or larger. When
selecting the size of the pieces please consider the following:
- Small
parts are a CHOKING HAZARD and are not intended for children
under 3 years of age. Some puzzle pieces may also have
pointed angles.
- Puzzles
are excellent educational and developmental toys for
children and competent adult selection and supervision
is recommended for all toys.
- Puzzle
pieces that will fit into a "small part tester" with
a diameter of less than 1.25 inches pose a choking hazard
and are not intended for children under the age of 3 years
or for unsupervised use of children less than 7 years of
age.
- Puzzle-my-Picture
jigsaw puzzles are made from acrylic to insure durability
and are cut by an industrial laser to insure a precision
fit. The laser cuts the puzzle by vaporizing a very thin
space between pieces. This produces a very smooth edge,
however, the precision of the laser, when cutting corners,
may result in smooth pointed angles on some pieces.

are your payment options?
We accept

orders or personal checks (we wait for personal checks to
clear before making the puzzle). |
Discounts & Special
Orders...
If you want multiple copies of the same puzzle we will give
you a volume discount.
If you
would like a puzzle that is not one of our standard sizes
or shapes please Contact Us and we will tell you if there
is an additional cost.
If you want something written on the puzzle, the standard
additional cost is $10 unless it is something very elaborate
or uses multiple fonts that require our puzzle designers to
spend design time.
If your business would like small puzzles to be used as a
promotional item or to recognize an event, we can include your
logo, and any special printing.

Gift
Certificates!
If you would
like to purchase a gift certificate we will send you
an acrylic gift certificate made of the same material
as our puzzles. Each certificate is about 6 inches long
and 2 ½ inches wide and has a puzzle pattern etched
on the surface by our lasers.
Gift certificates
are mailed with an order form for the recipient to select
their puzzle cuts and piece sizes, and stamped, return
address shipping label for the recipient to mail their
order, picture, and the gift certificate back to us.
As with all orders, you may have the gift certificate
sent to you or to the person you would like to receive
it as a gift. No name is entered on the gift certificate
so a gift certificate is as good as cash for us.
